Biscayne National Park & Boca Chita Boat Tour

/

Escape the city and discover the wild side of Miami with a private Biscayne National Park & Boca Chita boat tour. This full-day adventure takes you far beyond Miami Beach to explore remote islands, turquoise waters, mangroves, marine life, and some of the most beautiful natural areas in South Florida.

This 7-hour private experience is designed for nature lovers, families, and adventurous travelers who want to discover a completely different side of Miami. Much of Biscayne National Park is covered by water, and several of its islands can only be reached by boat, making this one of the most unique ways to explore the area.

What You'll Discover on Your Biscayne National Park & Boca Chita Boat Tour:

🐬 Your journey begins across Miami Beach, heading south toward the more natural and undeveloped waters surrounding Key Biscayne. Along the way, keep your eyes open for Miami’s local wildlife, including dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, rays, tropical fish, iguanas, and numerous species of birds.

Wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, but exploring these waters gives you the opportunity to encounter South Florida’s marine animals in their natural environment.

🌿 Cruise along the Virginia Key mangroves, an important coastal habitat where marine life and birds thrive away from Miami’s busy beaches.

🏝️ Continue toward Key Biscayne, surrounded by beautiful beaches, clear water, tropical vegetation, and some of the most scenic coastal landscapes around Miami.

🏠 As you travel farther south, discover Stiltsville, the famous collection of historic wooden houses standing above the waters of Biscayne Bay — one of the most unusual landmarks you can see by boat in Miami.

🤿 Around Soldier Key and the surrounding waters, discover shallow, clear areas ideal for exploring the underwater environment. Depending on conditions, you'll have opportunities to swim and snorkel while looking for tropical fish, rays, turtles, and other marine life.

🏝️ The highlight of the adventure is Boca Chita Key, one of the most iconic islands in Biscayne National Park and accessible only by boat. Explore the island, walk around its tropical landscape, enjoy the waterfront, and discover its famous historic lighthouse overlooking Biscayne Bay.

The National Park Service describes Boca Chita as the most visited island in Biscayne National Park, making it one of the signature destinations of the park.

On the journey back to Miami Beach, relax onboard and enjoy panoramic views as the Miami skyline gradually reappears across Biscayne Bay.
