Miami Boat Tours experiences depart from 2400 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, in the heart of South Beach. Our departure point is within walking distance of many of Miami Beach’s most iconic luxury hotels, including 1 Hotel South Beach, W South Beach, The Setai, Shelborne South Beach, and Delano Miami Beach. If you're staying in South Beach, you may be just a few minutes away from your boat tour. Exact meeting and boarding instructions are provided with your booking confirmation.
For first-time visitors, we recommend at least 2 hours to enjoy Millionaire's Row, Miami's skyline, Star Islands and all the other islands without feeling rushed. Longer tours of 3 to 5+ hours are ideal for swimming, relaxing on the water, or exploring farther destinations such as Miami Downtown, Miami River, Brickell and Raccoon Island.

Yes! Swimming can be included on many of our private Miami boat tours. If you want to have enough time to explore Miami from the water and enjoy a swimming stop without feeling rushed, we recommend booking a tour of at least 3 hours.
Depending on the itinerary, weather and water conditions, your captain can take you to different islands and swimming spots around Biscayne Bay. Popular options include Monument Island, Picnic Island, and Raccoon Island, where you can swim and relax by the beach.
Miami is also famous for its sandbars, where you can anchor in beautiful shallow water that is often around knee- to waist-deep. These spots can be especially enjoyable for families with children who prefer shallow water. Popular locations include Haulover Sandbar and Nixon Sandbar.
If swimming is an important part of your experience, let us know when booking. Your captain can recommend the best swimming spot based on your tour duration, departure point, weather, and conditions on the day.
You are welcome to bring your own food, snacks, soft drinks, and alcohol onboard your Miami boat tour. The only exception is red wine, which is not allowed onboard because it can easily stain the boat’s seats.
Our boats are equipped with a cooler with ice and bottled water, so you can keep your drinks cold throughout the tour.
If you need to pick up anything before departure, our marina at 2400 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach is conveniently located next to a liquor store and Walgreens, where you can purchase drinks, snacks, sunscreen, and other essentials before boarding.

To reserve a boat we need a deposit of 30% of the amount of the tour. Without deposit, we can't take any reservation.
Deposit can be fully refund until 7 days before the booking star date.
Deposit can be 50% refund between 3-7 days before the booking starting date.
Cancellations within 3 days of the booking start are non-refundable.
The weather in Miami is very unpredictable and benefits from a microclimate. We are dependent on this weather and cannot control it. It may be sunny in the north of the bay while there is a storm in the south. We adjust our routes based on the weather conditions.
We navigate in sunshine, clouds, wind, rain, heat and cold.
Unless there are extreme conditions (severe storms, U.S. Coast Guard advisory for small crafts), we do not cancel the tour.
In case of severe weather conditions your reservation may be rescheduled. If the weather is truly bad, we reschedule reservations from one day to another based on availability.
However, if the weather is acceptable (not extreme) and you decide to cancel or reschedule less than three days before departure, the deposit is non-refundable.
Captain T Boat Tours LLC reserve the right to cancel all reservations with or without notice due to bad weather (hurricane, rain, wind) or mechanical issues. Changes to your reservation may be permitted no later than 3 days before the date of the rental.

Absolutely! Children and babies are welcome on our Miami boat tours, making a private boat experience a great activity for families visiting Miami.
For safety and legal capacity purposes, every person onboard — including infants and babies — counts as a passenger, regardless of age. Please make sure to include all children when providing the total number of guests for your reservation.
Children under 13 years old are required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket while the boat is underway, in accordance with applicable boating safety regulations.
